Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Fresh Green Beans (washed, dried, and trimmed)
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Onion Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt (or to taste)
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper (freshly cracked)
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional) For a rich creaminess

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by washing and trimming the ends of your green beans. Pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the dry green beans with the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  2. Air fry the green beans for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  3. In the final 2 minutes of cooking, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the beans if using.

Notes

Make sure to dry your green beans thoroughly to avoid steaming. Try different seasoning blends for added flavor. Serve immediately for the best texture. Cooked green beans can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
