  • 2 cups tortellini Fresh tortellini is recommended for best texture.
Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced Adds protein and juiciness.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking the chicken.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the sauce.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Gives the sauce a rich texture.
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning Adjust according to taste.
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Grated to taste Parmesan cheese For serving.
  • Chopped to taste parsley For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the diced chicken to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  6. Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing gently until well combined and heated through.
  7. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

Notes

For best results, allow garlic to cook just until fragrant and adjust Cajun seasoning to taste. This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated gently for meals throughout the week.
