  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder Gives a bold chocolate flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Balances sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder Minimal lift to avoid brick-heavy texture
Chocolate Glaze

Topping
  • 1 cup rainbow candy-coated chips or sprinkles Sprinkle on while glaze is still soft

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a brownie pan.
  2. In a bowl, stir the melted butter and granulated sugar until glossy and evenly combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder, mixing just until combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25–30 minutes, ensuring the center is set but still fudgy.
  2. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Glazing
  1. Spread the chocolate glaze evenly over the cooled brownies.
  2. Sprinkle rainbow candy-coated chips or sprinkles while the glaze is still soft.
  3. Allow the glaze to set before slicing into squares.

Notes

For best results, do not overmix the batter. Watch closely during baking to maintain texture. Store in an airtight container to keep the glaze smooth.
