  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, diced Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets Can be substituted with other veggies like asparagus.
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter Melt until bubbly.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Watch closely to avoid burning.
  • 1 piece lemon, juiced and zested Use fresh for best flavor.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust to preference.
Optional Garnish
  • Parmesan cheese Serve grated for an added touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it is bubbly and foamy.
Cooking
  1. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Incorporate the diced chicken into the skillet, stirring occasionally until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté until bright green and tender, roughly 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet alongside the lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Combine everything well and allow to meld for another 2 minutes.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes
