  1. Begin by cooking the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of the pasta water.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to let it burn.
Cooking
  1. Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring gently until it melts.
  2. Gradually pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan, mixing until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  3. Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce, adding a splash of reserved pasta water if needed for extra creaminess.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Finally, garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately while hot.
