Preparation of Mashed Potatoes
- Begin by boiling the potatoes in a large pot of salted water. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Cooking the Shrimp
- In a skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

Serving
- Spoon the creamy garlic butter shrimp generously over the mashed potatoes and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
For the best results, use fresh shrimp and avoid over-mixing the potatoes. Consider adding lemon juice for brightness.
