Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for optimal crispiness.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, shredded cheese, bacon bits, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Scoop heaping tablespoons of the mixture and form them into small patties.
- Arrange the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cooking
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping the patties halfway through for even cooking.
- Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving them warm.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for better crispiness. Can be served with sour cream or dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze uncooked patties for up to a month.
