  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed Trimmed to remove tough ends.
Seasonings
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil To achieve a crispy texture.
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme (or fresh thyme, chopped) Fresh thyme can enhance the flavor.
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Optional, for finishing.
  • <1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Optional, for serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the carrots and green beans.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetables. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread the coated vegetables in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the vegetables are tender and golden brown with a slightly crispy exterior.
  2. If desired, drizzle with balsamic vinegar in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
Serving
  1. Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure vegetables are cut into even sizes and avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Fresh herbs can bring additional flavor.
