  • 2 tablespoons Almond Butter (or sunflower seed butter for nut-free) Sunflower seed butter can be used to make it nut-free.
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil (melted) Ensure the oil is melted before mixing.
For the Chocolate Layer
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips (or chocolate bar) Use dark chocolate for richer flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Pit and check the dates. Ensure they're soft and sticky.
  2. Combine the pitted dates, almond butter, and melted coconut oil in a bowl. Mix until it forms a thick, uniform paste.
  3. Press the date mixture into an even layer in a prepared pan.
Melting Chocolate
  1. Melt the chocolate chips until smooth and glossy.
  2. Pour or spread the melted chocolate over the date caramel layer evenly.
Finishing Up
  1. Chill until the chocolate is fully set.
  2. Cut into small squares or rectangles and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, use soft Medjool dates. Press firmly for a clean cut and ensure the chocolate is melted gently.
