Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Provides a lean protein base.
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Adds flavor and helps tenderize the meat.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Contributes to a rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped Lends an earthy aroma.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds a warm, comforting taste.
  • Salt and pepper to taste For seasoning.
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth Keeps the chicken moist while baking.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, olive oil, chopped rosemary, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined. The mixture should be smooth and fragrant.
  3. Coat each chicken breast evenly with the mustard mixture, using your hands or a spoon to get into all the nooks. Place the coated chicken in a baking dish, arranged neatly.
  4. Pour the low-sodium chicken broth around the chicken in the dish, which will help keep the chicken moist while baking.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). The chicken should appear golden brown with bubbling sauce around it.
  2. Serve the chicken warm, drizzled with the flavorful sauce from the baking dish.

Notes

For best results, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight, ensure uniform thickness for even cooking, and consider adding veggies for a one-pan meal.
