Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups honeydew melon, cubed Use the ripest one for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves Fresh mint is key for flavor.
  • 4 cups green tea, brewed and chilled Start with fully chilled tea.
  • 1/4 cup honey (optional) Sweeten to taste based on melon ripeness.
  • to taste ice cubes Use generous ice for best results.

Method

Preparation
  1. Blend the honeydew and mint until glossy. Add the cubed honeydew and fresh mint leaves to a blender. Blend for 30–60 seconds, until it looks smooth, pale green, and shiny.
  2. Stir the puree into chilled green tea. Pour the chilled green tea into a large pitcher, then add the honeydew-mint puree. Stir well until the color is even.
  3. Sweeten only if it needs it. Taste the tea, and if the melon isn’t sweet enough, stir in honey until fully dissolved.
  4. Serve over plenty of ice. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the tea over. Garnish with mint leaves or honeydew cubes if desired.

Notes

For best results, start with fully chilled tea and adjust sweetener to taste. Store leftovers in the fridge for best flavor.
