- If making a hot version, heat the milk in a small saucepan over low heat until warm but not boiling.
- In a separate bowl, sift the matcha powder to eliminate any clumps.
- Gradually whisk in a couple of tablespoons of the warm milk into the matcha powder to create a thick paste.
- Once the matcha is smooth, incrementally stir in the remaining warm milk while whisking continuously until fully combined and frothy.
- If making an iced version, fill a glass with ice before pouring in the matcha mixture.
- Taste your latte and add sweetener to your liking, stirring well to combine.
- Serve immediately, enjoying the beautifully frothy texture and vibrant green color.
Notes
