Mini Caprese
  • 12 mini Mozzarella balls Use fresh if possible.
  • 12 halved Cherry tomatoes Sweet and juicy.
  • 12 leaves Fresh basil For classic Italian flavor.
Sugar Rush Versions
  • 4 tbsp Peanut butter For sweet mini sandwiches.
  • 4 tbsp Jam Any flavor you prefer.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Gather all ingredients and prepare the fillings as listed.
  2. Prepare the bread by cutting it to desired sizes for mini sandwiches.
Assembly
  1. Spread hummus on one slice of bread, layer vegetables, and top with another slice.
  2. For the ham and cheese, layer ham and cheese with mustard on bread and top with another slice.
  3. For the Mini Caprese, layer mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes on skewers or mini skewers.
  4. For sugar rush versions, spread peanut butter and jam between slices or spread cream cheese and layer fruits.
Serving
  1. Place mini sandwiches on a platter for serving.
  2. Decorate with fresh herbs for an additional touch.

You can pre-make fillings and store them in the fridge. Don't stress perfection in presentation; a casual look can be inviting.
