  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation
  1. In a microwave-safe mug, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix until fully combined.
  2. Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon over the batter and gently mix until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Cooking
  1. Microwave on high for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds. The cake should rise firmly to the touch and be cooked through.
  2. Allow the mug cake to cool for about a minute before serving. Optionally, top with additional sugar and cinnamon for an extra sweet touch.

Notes

Ensure your mug has enough room for the cake to rise; a smaller mug can cause overflow. It’s best to prepare one mug at a time for even cooking.
