Ingredients

Pizza Bomb Ingredients
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough or pizza dough This forms the outer buttery crust.
  • 24 slices pepperoni Add more or less according to taste.
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, cubed For a classic cheesy flavor.
  • 0.5 cup pizza sauce Plus extra for dipping.
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted For brushing the dough.
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced Adds flavor to the garlic butter.
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese For topping the finished pizza bombs.
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley For garnish.
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning For added flavor.
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper To taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Take the biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a 3–4 inch circle.
  3. In the center of each dough circle, add 1–2 slices of pepperoni, 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce, and a cube of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough up around the filling and pinch them to seal, then roll gently into a ball.
  5. Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down in your air fryer basket, ensuring there’s space between them.
Cooking
  1. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and black pepper.
  2. Brush this garlic butter mixture generously over the tops of the dough balls.
  3. Air fry the pizza bombs for 14–18 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  4. While warm, sprinkle with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, and serve them hot with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overfill the bombs; too much filling can make them difficult to seal. Keep an eye on the cooking time as air fryers may vary. Let them cool slightly before serving.
