  • 1 cup sour rainbow candy strips
  • 1 cup vodka Use your preferred brand.
  • 2 cups fruit-flavored gelatin (from packets) Choose your favorite flavor.
  • 2 cups water For boiling.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup sour sugar (optional, for coating) Adds a tangy finish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the fruit-flavored gelatin until fully dissolved.
  3. Add granulated sugar and corn syrup; whisk until completely dissolved.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool briefly.
  5. Stir in the vodka until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  6. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  7. Pour the mixture into the dish and level it out.
  8. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours until set.
Assembly
  1. Loosen the edges with a knife and unmold onto a cutting board.
  2. Cut the gelatin into 1-inch-wide strips.
  3. Cut sour rainbow candy strips to match the length of gelatin strips.
  4. Place a sour candy strip on top of a gelatin strip and roll tightly.
  5. Optional: Roll in sour sugar for a sparkling finish.
  6. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Notes

Ensure the gelatin is completely dissolved for the best texture. Aim for even thickness while pouring into the dish for consistent strips.
