  • 3/4 cup whole milk You can substitute with buttermilk.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until just combined.
Baking
  1. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently roll it out to 1-inch thick.
  2. Cut the dough into equal pieces (triangle or round shapes) and place them onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
